Key ingredients

2% Bakuchiol*
Studies show that bakuchiol inhibits the growth of bacteria responsible for the formation of acne, regulates the secretion of sebum, thus preventing the formation of blackheads and shiny skin, fights free radicals, slows down the processes of elastin and collagen destruction. Helps with fine lines and wrinkles.

5% Vitamin C (Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate)
Highly stable form of Vitamin C that is considered an analogue of L-ascorbic acid. Enzymes within skin convert this form of vitamin C to pure vitamin C, ascorbic acid. Working as antioxidant, it neutralizes the types of free radicals that damage skin’s lipids such as ceramides and cholesterol. In higher concentrations (from 5%) it is helpful in targeting hyperpigmentation.

5% Alpha Lipoic Acid
Clinically studied dose to have anti-aging effect. It showed to have reduced fine lines, wrinkles, and skin roughness with no side effects.

0.3% Provitamin A (Retinyl Palmitate)
More gentle than all other forms of retinoids, but takes most longest to work. It has to be converted to retinol and then to retinoic acid (active form of Vitamin A). Retinyl Palmitate helps fight premature aging by
– increasing cell turnover (the skin’s natural exfoliating process) to reveal brighter and smoother skin;
– boosting collagen, the protein that keeps skin firm;
– destroying free radicals before they give you wrinkles and dark spots.

Vitamin E
The antioxidant properties of vitamin E can help to prevent damage to skin caused by free radicals from UV exposure. Vitamin E may also have an anti-inflammatory effect on the skin. Increase effectiveness of Vitamin C and Vitamin A.

Can be used with retinol, AHAs and BHAs as Hadaai Face Oil is water-free and won’t mess with these products pH.

* While bakuchiol is considered a gentler alternative to retinoids, there is still a risk of sensitivity, including redness, dryness or stinging of the skin, especially with initial use. That means that until your skin becomes accustomed to bakuchiol, you may still notice some irritation
